Licensed Acupuncturist & Herbalist, Stacey Kett, supports health and balance through understanding and treating the body as a whole, using Acupuncture, Cupping, Western Herbs and Chinese Herbs. These techniques have been used for thousands of years and are effective, simple and can treat a wide range of health conditions.
Stacey received a Master's degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. This was an intensive four year degree that emphasized Acupuncture, Moxibustion, Cupping and Chinese Herbs.
In 2011 and again in 2016, Stacey volunteered in Nepal with the Acupuncture Relief Project, a non-profit organization that is based in Nepal. She worked with a team of practitioners to provide health care in clinics located in rural villages. She's had the opportunity to treat many chronic diseases including Parkinson's, post stroke paralysis, Bell's palsy, Migraines, chronic pain, gastrointestinal issues and lots of knee and neck pain.
Stacey has been a resident of Humboldt County since 1992. She is happy to be living in Arcata and is dedicated to participate in the health of this community. She enjoys hiking with her dogs, surfing and gardening.
